The "C" Major Scale on Piano

This lesson talks about the most commonly used scale while playing the piano called the "C Major Scale." The is the scale with all white keys. There have been millions of songs written in the popular key of C. You will find that you will be able to easily come up with your own chord progressions and melodies just by learning this simple 8 note scale.

Here is how the notes progress, starting from middle C.:

C, D, E, F, G, A, B, and C!

You could also go down the scale starting from middle C:

C, B, A, G, F, E, D, and C!
